Appendix I - Prohibited Substances
The total concentration of lead, cadmium, mercury, and hexavalent chromium in the core limit packaging (including all components, parts, and auxiliary materials) must not exceed 100 mg/kg (0.01%)
The test report is a part of the compliance evidence, but it does not equate to the technical document itself, nor does it mean that one report can cover all PPWR compliance. Currently, the main requirements are for PPWR technical documents and DOC declarations. It is recommended that packaging undergo PPWR packaging testing to prove that the packaging meets PPWR requirements for heavy metals.
