On June 29, 2024, the State Administration for Market Regulation (State Standardization Administration) issued Announcement No. 14 of 2024 on Chinese National Standards, approving 109 national standards and 4 national standard modification forms.
Among them, GB/T 26572-2011 "Limit Requirements for Restricted Substances in Electronic and Electrical Products" and "Amendment No. 1" have added four limit requirements for ortho benzene, which is the Chinese version of the RoHS standard and benchmarks against the EU RoHS 2.0. Intended to protect consumer health and reduce the risks that may arise from harmful substances.
