On June 16, 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced on its official website that the ECHA Member States Committee (MSC) had reached a consensus at its June meeting to officially include three substances (which have been in the public review stage since February 28, 2025) in the Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).
It is expected that the SVHC candidate list will be officially updated later this month. At that time, the SVHC candidate list will include 33 batches of 250 substances.
