What testing report is PFAS?

Fluorine and perfluoroalkyl compounds (PFAS) are a series of synthetic organic fluorides commonly used in the production of daily necessities with requirements such as anti fouling, waterproofing, and grease resistance due to their unique physical and chemical properties.

In recent years, the widespread presence of PFAS in the environment and the negative health effects associated with exposure include the harm of lipid metabolism, thyroid hormone levels, and immune system damage in animals. Therefore, more and more perfluorinated substances are under regulatory control. In order to effectively avoid the harm caused by PFAS and ensure that products meet regulatory requirements, relevant regulations require perfluorinated substances to undergo PFAS testing.

Test content:

·PFAS perfluorinated/polyfluoroalkyl substance testing: Test method: CEN/TS 15968:2010

·PFOA+PFOS content test: Test method: US EPA 3550C and CEN/TS 15968:2010/GB31604.35

·PFOA+PFOS dissolution test: According to the Food Contact Materials Regulations (FCM) of the European Union (EU) and German Standards (LFGB), the simulation solution and temperature conditions can be selected, and the test method is EN 13130

Applicable products:

Various packaging materials, antifouling and waterproof fabrics, non stick products (such as non stick pan with polytetrafluoroethylene coating), paper coatings, polishing agents, waxes, paints, cleaning products and foam fire extinguishers, carpets, cosmetics, leather, electronic appliances, food contact materials and articles, fire-fighting foam, upholstered furniture, waterproof clothing and equipment, etc.
