Implementation date: January 1st, 2026

Four ortho benzenes have been officially included in control, consistent with the EU ROHS

This modification form is formulated as the overall deployment of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on deepening the control of harmful substances in electrical and electronic products. Four types of substances, namely phenyl butyl phthalate (DBP), diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP), toluene butyl phthalate (BBP), and di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), will be included in China's RoHS restrictions.

Four phthalates have been officially added to GB/T 26572, and the detection method has been adjusted from GB/T 26125 to GB/T 39560 standard. China's RoHS standard will be fully integrated with international standards, and materials used in domestic electrical and electronic products must also meet the requirements of 10 restricted substances, no longer distinguishing between national and international standards. It is recommended that relevant enterprises prepare contingency plans in advance.
